The property is located on one of the highest peaks of Parshuram Ghats, a hill station. The weather is pleasant throughout the year. The property is built with eco friendly renewable materials like Bamboo & mud- cow dung flooring which regulates the inside temperatures lower by 5% in summer & winters. All the basic comforts like attached bathrooms with English commodes & hot water is provided. We have a small books library, music collection , brain teaser games for kids, an innovative 6 sided carom board , binoculars for bird watching & telescope for sky watching. We have two big courtyards for children & elders to play & 5acres of land to explore nature. There are many rare bird species like Malabar Pied or Great Hornbills , Oriental Dwarf kingfishers , Green Pegions , Wooly necked storks , Asian Paradise Flycatchers , Minivets , etc. present in & around Dongarmatha.

We conduct Nature & bird watching trails, Crocodile Boat safari, Waterfall treks around our property. Expert guided sky watching programs, Terracotta pottery , Painting, Photography workshops can be conducted at additional cost. We have planted & conserved more than 5000 native plants maintaining the local bio-diversity on our 5acres property. We have also planted vegetables & flowering plants in our kitchen garden grown organically. During Nature walks we give information about these trees/plants and how to conserve nature practically .
